Normal Board Rules (UPDATED August 26 2007!):

- Your drawing must be Sonic/Furry related (This includes any anthro animal, including those that don't have fur). Humanized Official Sonic characters are fine.
Humans with a few animal bits on (like just ears and a tail), and non-anthro animals do not count.
(Any pictures breaking this rule will be deleted immediatly. If we have to delete 3 pictures by you for this reason, you will get a weeks ban)
- Spend at least 30 minutes on all pictures, including WIP.
We won't delete any pictures that are undertimed 1-3 minutes as long as there is obvious effort in it.
- Mark bloody and R rated pictures as adult. NC-17 art goes on the adult board.
- Do not bash or flame, or otherwise behave in a disruptive manner. (This should go without saying)
- No more than 3 pictures a day per board (excl. practice board).
- User created contests are not allowed on this board.
- If you have a WIP, try to finish it before starting another picture.
- All pictures must have dimensions of at least 200x200 pixels

When to contact an Admin:

- When you have an issue with being copied. Do not attempt to deal with it yourself, you may be at risk of punishment for flaming.
- When chatroom conversations launch into flamewars, are 'trolled' or spammed, or contain overly sexual content (please include a copy of the discussion). New: Please note that the chatroom is shared between all boards, so avoid posting sexual content regardless of which board you are on at the time.
- When you feel another user is harrassing you, or attacking you unfairly through PM.

No, we don't bite. Please be aware that we can't be online 24/7, though, and so it may take a while to get to your PM.

its supposed to be a kind of sort of human version of Blaze but i don't think it looks that good. i just barely started drawing on this website so i'm barely figuring things out so if anybody has any advice to give me please do so

Try not using the line tool. Freehand or curve works much better. For things like the eyes or mouth or something it's OK to use the line tool, but try to avoid it.

If you added more time and such, I'm sure it would look beautiful. ^^
Even with the straight lines, I feel they are working well for you.
I guess it's a matter of knowing how to use the program -in this case Shi Painter- but once you get the hang of it, I'm sure everything'll be spectacular. :3

I was trying to go for a nice speed sketch, and I like how it came out overall. I'm pretty much done with this since I only really wanted to shade DM and leave the other character, Penfold mostly white since it actually suits his overall character. He's easily scared and overwhelmed with all the crazy shit that gets thrown their way.

Also you can obviously see I did this in a bit of an anime oriented style, since I have the stress lines coming out of Penfold's head.

arms are a bit short still on the fox girl. keep in mind that arms usually go down so the hands are right after your waist line.
